Blues4Kali- A Cult Classic for the End Times

What will Winter Solstice bring in 2012?
...an instant of Karma? ...an ethereal spiral dance of the collective soul? ... cosmic judgment leveled against civilization's expanse? ...destruction of the world as we know it? ...a chance for a new start? ...the rise and the revenge of the Goddess? or simply another day in the life of paranoia?
These are the false prophesies that your pastor warned you about!

Reality Exchange Program

"Makes DMT seem like a whip-it."

Crazy Bear said there'd be days like this. As usual, no one believed him. Now, all I want to know is: where IS that lifeboat, and how DO I ditch this ship of fools, without any of these bliss ninnies noticing that I'm already gone?

Captain, my ass. We are equal in this sea of madness.

That iceberg is looking awfully big.

Amana Mission is on a quest to save the world, and the only problem is, she can't remember why she got involved with such an obvious scam in the first place. Jesus saves. Christ. What a loser.

Kali kills first, and recycles later.

Hitchhikers, load up for a ride to the Other Side. You may wish you had gone Greyhound.

"What the...?"

*A cranky band of prankster peace warriors who absolutely cannot resist messing with each other's minds, no matter the cost.

*Cocky alchemy-dabbling quantum surfers, navigating the Ethersphere with hand-held computers, switching timelines to find a better party vibe and swap tips about the best temporary toilets for use as interdimensional portals.

*A burnt-out visionary hippie millionaire on a mission from Gaia to build a better "communitopia" by underwriting a convoy carrying telepathic priestesses.

*A wheelchair-bound mindpilot propelling a crystal-powered Seed Bank toward the post-Apocalyptic Garden, with psychic precision...and a predilection for high-velocity extreme driving.

*Hermaphrodite time-jumper fleeing a fate worse than death.

*Anarchist ghettoes where anything goes-except escape.

*Ancient Principals vying like sweatsoaked carpetbaggers for our loyalty as the Final Vote is tallied.

*Long-haired security patrols collecting a cannabis tribute tax from all pilgrims to the Valley of Fun.

*And an underground meat mafia bringing a black magic revival to a bloodless dreamworld gone bland.

All brought together by a secret psychedelic superdrug that tunes users in to reality through the eyes of another archetypal avatar inhabiting a different state of space and time. Mahayana made easy. Budding Buddha natures are running amuck on a virtual superhighway where all roads lead to the Bo tree and singularity.

Twenty-first century Tantra is about more than sex, drugs, and
rock and roll.Confronting the Karma of every wasted breath is only the first step.

Welcome to the End Times. Kali awaits. She already knows who you are.

Do you?

The 21st century counterculture is even weirder than it appears on the surface. This is not your mommy’s MTV Road Rules.

Ride along on this mesmerizing, metaphor-packed bus trip toward ecstasy and enlightenment, as three real-time guides-Amana, Sissy, and Deva, let you in on what they learned when they asked what It was really all about, after all.

Become them for a multilevel metafictional tour of infinity and awaken yourself to the miracle-a-minute magic of mighty Mother Kali!

Hello everyone. I'm new to LiveJournal so I hope that I'm doing this correctly. I found your community and thought some of you might be interested in a summer series of workshops that my nonprofit is hosting called "Mythic Living for Modern Women." I have written about it over on my LiveJournal, so hopefully you'll take a trip over there and see what they are all about. Thanks!!

Hello to everyone
A freind say this was a good community so tonight I'm saying hello. Medium run in my family. I am just begining to chanell the messeges from my ancenters that are in another realm. I am also just starting on focusing energy and directing it. Although, I feel like I'm kind of practising by trail and error. If anyone has some suggestions onhow I can work on these areas and learn new skills I'd love to hear from you.

Nindra Yoga/Meditation (Sorry for the X Posting)
A friend gave me a CD called Yoga Nidra Meditation, and I just
used it for the first time. I did not really know what to expect.
Little did I know that I would experience so much..............

I remember doing the Survey of Body and the 61 Points of Relaxation,
and starting the Ascending Breath and from there, everything became a
blissful blurr. I don't know where I was, or exactly what I was
doing, feeling... But I felt so much pouring from my heart chakra.... Many
deep personal things.. From anger I had held being released being replaced
by love. Pure love.......

I was conscious, but not. It is very hard to explain, especially since I believe
I rushed myself up from the un-waking state so quickly due to the shock of the experience.

Several times I even thought I got up. I got up to go look out the window,
and there was a beautiful body of water that looked so peaceful and serene, and I remember
thinking, but this can't be my window I don't live on the water. But it felt
so real. Several visions like this occured. Imagine my surprise when I came to my senses
in my own bed obvious I had not moved!

When my consciousness came to, I was in tears. Tears of joy from release of pain, and such
a beautiful experience. I felt a unity I had never felt before thru meditation.

My spirits were very low before I used this CD and when I came to, I felt that negativity
had been pulled from me and replaced with love.

I wish to learn all I can of this form of meditation/yoga......

Does anyone else have any experience with Nidra?
Or any links?

Any help would be much appreciated.......

Much love,

What are your experience with totems? Does anyone else have the Medicine Cards? Have you pulled your nine totems in there - do you think they tell you a lot about yourself?

What animals do you find yourself drawn to on a mundane level? On a magical level?

 "You As A Blanket" Lyrics
feeling ever eternal
at last
my masterpiece
at my shoulder she takes her place
and i dont know
what you've been told
but this is the best thing ever

that sudden rush
its all too much
but then i start to get you

the soothing silence
your smile is immense
the feedback feels so true

i get lost
to the turn and toss
as our lips move

know it all
feel the call
when its just us two

you will wait
and thats why i hold your heart
i do not hesitate
to announce we'll never be apart
a whole wide wonder in my soul
that you occupy
cause love is when
you will give up everything to be at their side

a smile ever so sexy
sufficiently warm all through
its loud how you laugh out
oh its just fine
your touch and your emotions
consider the factors
your science
letting me be a host of heaven

my comfort opens
and aware of my sight
gratitude so great
cause here you are
experience your implication
at first always
i heal

so what does everyone else here like to listen to?

It's been awhile since anyone has posted in here . . .
Mabon is a week and a half away.

Does anyone have any major plans for Mabon? Is there a particular deity you associate with Mabon? Is there anything special you (or your coven) do for this holiday?

Now that I have moved into my new apartment I would like to have a few plants around. I was wondering what plants you have successfully grown indoors, and in pots.

I want some aloe, and now I'm debating african violets. Any suggestions?

If you will be celebrating today, what kinds of things will you do?

I think I am going to go for a walk soon. I want to go into the woods and do an offering, and if I'm lucky I want to have a bonfire tonight.

So . . .
what are you wanting to be the main focus of this community? In other words, what are you hoping to happen here?

Is this a place to share chants, poetry, ritual pieces/ideas/questions? Will we share mythology, recipes, experiences? What about techniques for better meditation, vision-questing, energy work and magick? What about our ideas of deity, death, life, change? Are we wanting to discuss how the sabbats and esbats effect our own lives? Or how each of us looks at deity from a slightly different angle? What about how we relate to others? Ethics? Sacred cows? (i.e. hot topics that generate much discussion such as sacred sexuality, our shadow selves, the assumption of the goddess as triple, etc.)

Etc. Etc. Etc. :-)

Moon time
I'm on my moon and being very negative about the whole thing. I found this website that talks about moon time - http://www.loznkaz.supanet.com/womanway/cycles5.html. Does anyone have other resources to share?

What about yourself - do you do anything special during your moon?

I know that this community is still in the developmental stages, but I noticed there aren't a lot of interests listed for others to find us. Let's brainstorm and jot down some ideas so we can gain some members! :)

My two cents to get it rolling: wicca, asatru, druidry, druid, shamanism, totem animals, power animals, spells, rituals, full moons, herbs, scott cunningham, the spiral dance, meditation, chakras, chanting, energy, magick, book of shadows, runes, tarot, gemstones, god, goddess, earth, air, fire, water...
